The best cafe I've been to in a LONG time. If you're looking for breakfast, look no further! Excellent home-cooked food, very friendly and expedient service! Long have I lamented the reign of mediocre big chain cafes forcing small cafes out of business, but CJs represents that most quintessential small town Cafe. You can sit at a table/booth, or just belly up to the counter for a quick bite to eat. Excellent quality ingredients, very fair prices, staff that care, and cooks that can take pride in their food. I'll be coming by very often!

The most perfect little diner. The breakfast burrito was the perfect diner burrito. The staff is hustling and doing amazing! Went 11am on a Sunday, rarely anyone had to wait at the door even with the church crowd shuffling in. Food didn’t take long to come out. Perfect home style breakfast when you’re far away from home.

Food was typical breakfast. Good selection. I liked the food. Service was terrible. I was shocked to find the person who was waiting on us was the owner. I thought he was going to break the dishes the way he threw them at us. Very short with us. Felt like we were annoying him from the moment we sat down. I saw the way he continued to treat the other people walking in and was not impressed. I would go back for the food, but won't due to the service.

The server was rude. He shouldn't be serving. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely disgusting. The biscuits where stale and the gravy was sweet and tasted really weird. I couldn't even stomach to finish it. The hashbrowns were great though. I don't recommend this place. My friend also got the biscuits and gravy and couldn't finish it.

The service was terrible. They brought us water and we weren’t ready to order yet. Which was our fault. The guy seemed irritated and just turns and walks away. He didn’t come back to ever get our order. So finally we had to get up and tell him we were ready to order. Still, no eye contact. No response. Then finally comes over and takes our order. My friend orders and he cuts her off as she is talking and asks how she wants her eggs. Then I said I would like the same and he goes “eggs, toast, hashbrowns, K” grabs the menu from my hand and walks away. I didn’t even get a chance to change how the eggs were made. Drops our food off and doesn’t say a thing. Drops our tab off and doesn’t say a thing. I have grace for bad days but this service was so bad we will never be back and until major changes happen I wouldn’t recommend you go either. I felt bad for being there and being a burden to him to have to serve us. Sad, too, seems like it could be a great family owned place if they showed some kindness and respect.

I'm trying to stay cool headed about this but my wife was just out with her sister and told me what happened to her. My very pregnant wife was bending over to help our son get his raincoat on when the owner ran into her, almost knocking her over. He didn't apologize and even guffed at her. While her sister was paying her ticket the owner just stared at my wife. She was uncomfortable and asked if he needed something. He threw her receipt at her and said she needs to pay. In the past we've noticed the owner is grumpy and rude but he's never done anything like this. After this incident I feel responsible to warn others.
