Passing thru, I stopped because who can resist BBQ and this place looked inviting, I liked the outdoor seating. I'm a Texas girl and I've had the best BBQ...the ribs and chicken here were fall off the bone tender, they were good, the slaw was pretty bland but the cowboys beans were delicious! Overall the food seemed a little bland sorry. But the girl behind the counter was great, thanks for serving me with a nice attitude.

A lucky break landed us here...we pulled off a slammed shut highway. We know southern bbq. So it takes a lot to impress. This place delivers. On point...flavors of the ribs..awesome burnt ends, the brisket done beautifully. All the sides are great, but the okra was simply BEST EVER. Coming from the south that says a lot. I love places that put effort into great food instead of weird decor

I had the tri tip. Very good flavor. Excellent texture. The sauce was average but overall very good. Cole slaw and beans are perfect. Highly recommed

I’ve been making meat stops around the city trying all the bbq places looking for the best smoked meats. Don’t let the modest digs fool you, this place did not disappoint. Ribs, brisket, and pulled pork were top tier. Great value for the price. 5 stars.

Excellent brisket / food and the service is top notch too! First time visiting this restaurant and I was impressed. Order ahead on the phone to save time, your not the only one enjoying the great food. A real treat !

I frequent this amazing rib joint at least 4 times per month. I live in Carlsbad and when I come out to this area for golf I cannot pass it up. This place cpd compete with any rib joint in the country. If they were closer to Carlsbad, I would be 400 pounds. Keep up the consistency, they take great pride in smoking properly.
