Blitz

Used to travel to come here in the late 90s for shopping in Falkirk. Heard its still open, so thought I'd pay a visit. It's good to see the food court is still open. The gym seems to attract a fair amount of people. Local businesses make the place a bit more lively. The building looks clean inside, as were the toilets. Overall, worth visiting if you enjoy r/deadmalls. It's always refreshing and hopeful to see efforts to try and save a dying centre, so best of luck with the place. Hope it can become something that is useful for the community. Dropped a star for parking, as the machines only accept coin change... Really inconvenient as the "app" does not work on any recent android version, it crashed as soon as I downloaded it. From the reviews on the App store, it looks like the app is not supported by the developer anymore. It also doesn't appear to work for 99% of trying to use it to pay parking within the past month (reviews).

Gonna say a public thank you to the management here for keeping the old button panel from the glass lift for me for over 7 months so I could collect it earlier this year! The lifts in the car park do need a little bit of help but I would not recommend modernisation as the buttons that they have is one of the most rare fixture lines in the world. Overall a great place from my point of view. :)
