Panera Bread

Have had worsening experiences at Panera, this location especially. I made a curbside order, which included a black iced coffee in the app, as I've done dozens of times. I was brought a very light colored ice coffee, clearly made with lots of cream. I told the employee that I ordered it black, and she told me, "That's how the black coffee comes." Seriously. I tried to let it go, figuring she was just new to food service. Came back again a few weeks later and had to wait several minutes for an employee to come greet meet and take my order, no one was any where near the register. Service was very slow. Decided not to come back for a few more weeks, thinking it was a short staffing issue. This time they seemed to be a little better staffed yet, the tables were filthy. Several customers were walking around trying to find a clean place to eat, while an employee restocked silverware and took no notice of the situation. The portions are too small, the service is not good, the food quality is hit or miss and order accuracy clearly doesn't matter. None of that justifies $35 for two people to eat glorified fast food.

Cashier Mary has an attitude issue, then she left my mom's bagel at the end of the counter for 15 minutes without telling us. Food was cold and small portion, other dried food on my plate. All the tables were dirty and the floor was disgusting. There is no excuse for poor management. Covid and short staffing (had an adequate amount of staff when we went) are no excuse for a filthy restaurant. Will not be back.

If I could give zero stars I would. I live down the road so I've tried this Panera several times. The service is always extremely slow. On top of slow service I've yet to order something from there that hasn't come out either completely wrong or with missing ingredients, or part of my order is missing entirely. The staff is not friendly and when asked to correct anything from the order they are so quick to have an attitude and are very unpleasant. Normally in a pandemic I would not even think about having a slow wait time however this Panera is nowhere near understaffed. They have employees standing around texting on their phones and a line of customers without food. I will not be back I'd rather drive the extra 10 minutes to a different Panera.

Just had a horrible experience with the wait staff here. The line staff are out of control. Only one lady was acting civil. The assistant manager was right there and allowed behavior that was an embarrassment for Panera but also should be brought to the attention of the health department for example chewing fingernails while on the food prep line and reaching inside pockets and blouses on the food prep line. This is in full sight of customers which makes a person wonder what goes on where the customers cannot see. The whole place smells like the sewer backed up. The quality of food has gotten worse and worse and frankly this afternoon (April 13, 2022) the place sounded like a zoo. Shrieking, laughing, yelling, impoliteness to customers, etc all coming from the food prep line.

Hadnt been to this store in a while due to food that seemingly no one cares about and staff attitude that does a lot to reaffirm my observation. After a less than helpful half asleep associate helped me I was served spoiled yogurt. Take your business to Starbucks or better yet, Nervous Dog and support local.

Had the displeasure of visiting this location Sunday evening approximately 7:25pm. Staff seemed to be kind and in a good mood. It was the MGR (female didn’t get her name) that was nasty, rude, dismissive, short and mean. Never smiled, ZERO personality and clearly hates her job. Not a good look for Panera.
