Bibap

Ended up coming here after getting stuck in a huge thunderstorm after getting nails done in the same shopping center. Super cute little Korean restaurant with authentic food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good and priced well. I got the ramen and it was alright. My friend got some dumplings as an appetizer and those were really good.

I went to this restaurant with my sister and my baby (in a stroller) and was delightfully surprised! This place had so many options that were under $10 and all the plates had pretty large portions. All the dishes we ordered - pork bibimbap, beef rib eye a.k.a bulgogi bibimbap and ramen were super DELISH and AMAZINGGG. I can tell they used fresh and healthy ingredients instead of the cheap kinds. You can think of this place as a traditional korean home cooking style restaurant. I feel like this place is a hidden gem and we're lucky to have such cozy/friendly place in fairfax! And all the staff that worked there were super nice too!! (They asked if they can get my baby anything and when I said it's okay, they still brought me little plate of fresh fruits. My heart was already melting at this point!

With the saturation of good Korean restaurants in the Fairfax, NoVa area, it is rare to find k-food that stands out..but this place delivered a rare culinary experience that I wont soon forget. I came for what I thought would be normal fast and casual lunch, and ordered the chicken man du k-ramen. As soon as I had my first bite though, I realized that the chef has truly mastered his or her craft. This was homemade ramen done right. The noodles were perfect al dente, the broth was light and did not overwhelm, and the man du was thick skinned and lightly spiced. The chicken was crazy good...but the most impressive part of the ramen (to me at least) was the perfectly cooked, slightly runny egg. It was a beautiful meal. The whole thing was $7.99. Suffice it to say, I will be back to eat here in the future. My only regret is that I've moved to NYC, and won't be able to eat here more regularly. I won't even get into the great customer service, I can only vouch for what the other reviewers have expressed which is that the proprietors of this restaurant were beyond nice and genuinely friendly. Go try this place now...and if you have the time, I highly recommend not ordering and going in to experience the food fresh.
