Stone Hot Pizza

Great food! I got the greek salad and added chicken to it. Everything was great- there was big chunks of chicken, plenty of feta, and good tomatoes. Everything was fresh and crispy. It came with oregano parmesan dressing, which was very good. You also get some pieces of pizza dough, which were also very good. I will definitely be back!

I really wanted to like this place, but there are issues. The pizza was good, but took a lot longer than other stone oven pizza places. The soda machine was out of ice, so warm soda. And there is several spots on the wall that has been damaged for a while (you can see the dirt on the chipped paint areas). The parmesan cheese packets were expired. I'm willing to try again, but not anytime soon.

5 stars for great customer service (in addition to tasty food!). We've been here/ordered delivery several times and have enjoyed them before, but this last order really showed their dedication to customer service. We ordered delivery, pizza and a salad, but when they came to the door, it was only pizza. I had forgotten we ordered salad and the delivery guy left before I remembered, but they had voluntarily upgraded the size of one of pizzas and so I hadn't thought it was a big deal. About 10 minutes later, unsolicited, the driver returned with our salad, profuse apologies, and some baklava. Very much appreciated and definitely will continue to order your excellent pizza!

Pizza was tasty and salad was good, but the staff seemed overwhelmed by the orders. Price was decent for the size of the pizza. But it took a while to take the order and then the order wasn't correct when delivered. Staff was courteous and corrected their mistake promptly, but it seemed that they were understaffed at lunchtime. Will return if in the area again. Good local food.

I guess for the folks here that might not have as high of an expectation for pizza quality as I do, I can understand their ratings. I'm not against a family trying to make it successful in America, but I think to do that you need to better understand American culture. My experience with the manager was questionable. The ice machine had no ice. The pizza had too much low quality cheese and not enough sauce. The pizza was chewy and lacked flavor. Service was without delay so that was appreciated. However, pizza was delivered before appetizers. If you want a real comparison for brick fire pizza, then try Oath pizza at Mosaic or Crust Pizzeria in Vienna. Generally good pizza can also be found at Mama Lucia/Tony's/Pomodora in Fairfax. Since this place doesn't meet my standard, I am not inclined to return..

“This afternoon I decided to try Stone Hot Pizza. Basically, order a pizza and I think they are the best pizza in town. The pizzas are fresh and homemade and freshly baked breads. The sauce is made from homemade tomatoes, it brings an even better taste on the palate. I'll take my father to the place. Excellent experience. Enjoy the place and the food.
