Great hangout for students. Food prices are student friendly, and atmosphere is great. Excellent serving sizes and halal meat options are available sometime if you ask for them (they are not explicitly stated on the menu).

The Ram, located in the Guild Hall, allows for students to have a safe place to go where they are pretty much guaranteed to be with people from the school or around their age where they can go to hang out and enjoy affordable drinks and food. They play good music and football games, making it very popular and they put on themed events you can buy tickets for which are well hosted and enjoyable.

I miss those curly fries!! Cosy and welcoming pub in the middle of campus. The food could be better but the beers are really good. Perfect after a debsoc Friday debate or a quick bite just before a campus cinema session. Great atmosphere.

As a PhD student the ram is a quality place for a cheeky pint in the middle of the day, when labs are just not going to plan, however with it being summer and all the undergraduates at home I feel it very disappointing that the ram closes at 3pm! If it were open til 7pm or later I'd definitely be in there at 5.05pm sharp

Good university bar, food is a decent price and tastes good but can take a while to come. Quiz nights on Mondays are also a laugh but it can get very busy during peak hours.

The University Bar, great for food, especially with an updated menu, and fairly inexpensive drinks. The "baskets" are great for quick meals, and service is fairly swift. It opens early, but only starts serving alcohol and main meals at 11.30. Food is served until 20.30, however you can continue drinking after that! Certain nights are dedicated, such as Rameoke or football matches, and the music that plays is controllable through the SubTV app, which can be clunky but does mean you have a say in the playlists.

Modern and well furnished student bar with a good selection of food including vegetarian and vegan options. Drinks are very reasonably priced with plenty on offer. Hosts regular weekly pub quiz and karaoke events during term time.
