Ordered here for the first time today and I can honestly say I had the best cod and chips I've had in a long time and at a good price. Fish was a good size for a regular (even sticking out of the container) and I will be back again in the future. Service at the counter couldn't be faulted 5* all around

Great for gluten free food, the only one I know in Exeter, its so hard for people who suffer from Barley, wheat, gluten allergies to obtain basic things we take for granted, about time other companies done more, I wish smart fish bar all the best, and keep up the good work.

Can’t stop thinking about these fish and chips! We got the gluten free cod, chips, and gluten free battered sausage. Plus curry sauce and mushy peas, all of it was delicious! The best gluten free fish and chips we’ve had, and that is a hard thing to do! 10/10 would recommend!

Nice enough, staff are pleasant and one of them is friendly. The food is standard pretty good. Price is almost reasonable

Reliably good every time. Got to time it right as can be busy and a long wait but they cook fresh for you so worth it.

Often enjoy eating from this local chippy in Exwick whilst watching football across the road, it's never too busy, friendly service and good sized portions, kebabs, jackets, fish, cod roe, lots of extras, food is always decent, full range of soft drinks as well, all competitively priced.
