Cleavers

I know this place is really popular and it was crowded with a line when I arrived. Unfortunately I can't give it more than 3 stars. The food was so bland. I ordered the veggie omelette with feta cheese which came with toast and hash browns. The omelette had no seasoning at all. The only good thing about it was the abundant feta cheese. The hash browns had zero flavor to them. All I could taste was the grease. The portions were huge, decent value for the money. Will not be returning.

We visited for the first time today for lunch. We like to check out places we’ve not been to before. It’s hit or miss sometimes because reviews aren’t always the best way to find a good place to eat. Definitely a hit on this choice! The place was clean and orderly, and we were seated fairly quickly by friendly staff. Our orders didn’t take too long to come out to the table but not as fast as most people expect to get food these days. When the food got to the table - very generous portions / sizes and it was obvious care was taken to prepare the food right. I had a ribeye steak sandwich and the wife had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were very good and more than we could eat at one sitting. The fries were also very good. We spent about the same amount of money as we would usually spend at someplace like Applebees, so not cheap but not overly expensive either and very worth it for the taste and amount of food we got. Would go again anytime, we would like to try the breakfast food when we come again. Five stars because it’s hard to find a place where the staff makes sure everything is right and good. I had a bottle of beer that was only just chilled not really very cold so I took off a star for that.

My husband and I have been wanting to try Cleavers since we moved here. It did not disappoint! You should have seen my face when they brought out the most beautiful french toast ever!!! It had the cutest strawberry roses and was loaded with blueberries, bananas, and strawberries! The french toast rivaled my Mom's! The waitress was super sweet and attentive!! We seriously loved this place and will definitely come back to try lunch and dinner!! :)

This place has been on my list of places to try and didn't disappoint! Staffing was a bit short but the staff worked well together to make up for it. The food was absolutely worth the wait. The portions were generous. I had the pot roast and it was so tender it just fell apart with your fork. I'll be back.

Went on a Saturday evening and the service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was fairly busy, but the service level was as if the restaurant was nearly empty. Chicken and waffles were the best I’ve ever had. Chicken Parmesan sandwich was overflowing with chicken. If you have your heart set on eating dessert, it’s best to split a plate because the portions are huge!

I had not been here in a while and decided to eat at this restaurant a couple mornings ago. First of all, service was great. Frankie waited me was friendly and did a great job checking on me. Second, food was also excellent. It took a little bit, but it was worth the wait. The portion size was huge for the price. The only number one complaint I have. I ordered a large Apple Juice (same large size cup as if you would go to another restaurant) and saw the cost was $4.55+tax on the receipt (didn't see this price on the menu), just saw a price of $2.95 and I about lost it. I could go to the store and get about 2 gallons for that price. Other than that, great otherwise and I will definitely be back. I just have to remember to bring my own drink and keep in the car.
