Oyster Troff

We went there for the first time on my birthday. We were told when we came in their cook wasn't there and they weren't sure if they would be able to provide much off their menu but they could offer drinks and raw oysters. We decided to sit at the bar and order that. Let me tell you the oysters were amazing. And the 2 servers there were so friendly. The cook did arrive and we ordered from the menu. Food was good and portions were big. We will definitely go again. Sometimes there are some glitches with things but if you patient you may find it is worth it.

Old rustic diner. Obviously a locals place. Not to many tourists. Had a Dozen oysters which were good size. Sad part no Tabasco sauce. They have a Louisiana hot sauce which was ok but oysters and Tabasco with lemon are the best. They also have a house cocktail sauce was ok. Mix it with the garlic becomes better. Service slow when busy. So chose your time. There are troughts around bar to toss you eaten oysters shells. Pretty cool. For the price it’s good. Check it out. You decide.

Hey all, if you want a afternoon trip for lunch (45 mins from orlando) I recommend the Oyster Troff in Eustis. Here's our lunch (also had 2 cups of Oyster chowder). Great staff, great food and great prices. 3 pics, the small fish sandwich was local and 16.00, the huge sandwich was from the Troff and it was 12.00. Friend had the fish, shrimp and clam combo for 16.00. Definitely worth the scenic drive. :)
