Le Monde

We had our anniversary dinner here about a year ago and it was phenomenal! The food was delicious and the staff was absolutely lovely. The créme brulee was so good! The crunch of the sugar layer breaking was the most satisfying sound ever and the creme was made from my thiccest smoothest velvetiest and most food- coma-inducing dreams. My favorite were the appetizer soft shell crabs; they were delicious and made excellent puppets. All in all 10/10 would devour again.

This place was a fantastic surprise. A great example of the ongoing renovation of Henderson center. The decor is clean and modern with with a touch of elegance that doesn't feel too stuffy. The menu is familiar enough to appeal to just about any diner and just playful enough for the dishes to be exciting. We started with the veggie Mac and cheese and that were not disappointed. The pork tenderloin is a true delight, reminiscent of Thanksgiving dinner in all the right ways. The beef bourguignon is as hearty as it is deep, with all the right textures. The cider cream chicken is delightful, rich, and velvety, hard to go wrong with something with that much cream. Prices are not bad considering quality of atmosphere, service, and food. Bring your sweetheart for a date, or bring out of town guests for something away from downtown.

Delcious food here!! You can tell the chef knows his stuff and is passionate about quality and flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. We got korean ribs, goat chesse peppers, and the steak. Very tasty. Highly recommended this place for date night or get togethers. Service was great too.

Amazing dining experience. The cajun shrimp and grits was fantastic. The buttercake dessert was one of the best desserts ive ever had in my life. Waiter was great too very attentive and friendly. Prices very reasonable for the quality you get. Will be going back. I've been all around and am not the easiest critic to please. Try it out!

I hope they become successful enough to upgrade the decor a bit. That's the only note for improvement as Le Monde is one of maybe three or four really high end (and constantly changing) menus in Humboldt County. I do prefer that they keep their current space, though, as it is not far from where I live.

Great food selection, good specials, from appetizers all the way to dessert. Very nice atmosphere, with plenty of "elbow room" between tables - refreshing to have enough space that your conversations are not competing with the talk at other tables nearby. They have a good, wide range of prices, too. You can have a very nice meal for well under 20 bucks, if you'd like, up to a couple clicks over 30 for some very nice creations just for that day. Very good, & very friendly, staff of folks. I'll be back soon!!
