Darjeeling Kitchen

Went here for the lunch buffet. I was excited to have another Indian option downtown. The pricing and food quality is pretty standard Indian buffet fare, but the Lamb Biryani and deserts (Kheer and Sewai) were exceptional. So good! They were a little slow on refills and they bring the naan to you instead of putting it on the buffet. Those are the only things holding them back from a 5-star rating. Overall very satisfying. Recommend checking them out and I'll definitely be back for dinner some time.

The food was excellent! The best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. The chicken was so tender it almost melted in my mouth. The naan was great. It was so fluffy and delicious. The service was awesome, the staff was super friendly and you could tell that they were super passionate about their craft. I can’t wait to go back. Definitely looking forward to trying the lunch buffet the next time I have a weekday off. Great job everyone at Darjeeling Kitchen!

This is a fantastic restaurant! Highly recommended! All of the food we tried was amazing and delicious. The ladies that served us were friendly and attentive. We actually ordered the mixed pickle and mango chutney and they happened to be out, so they made us a custom and extremely delicious mixed pickle on the spot. We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Wow! Best Indian food I've ever had, not to mention the Nepali food, which I've never had before but was AMAZING. My husband and I mentioned that we are vegetarians and our lovely server and the entire staff took extra special care of us. Every single item we had, including samosas, chaat, and more, was clearly made fresh from scratch to order and was of fantastic quality. I'd be more than happy with this meal in any of the larger cities I have lived in. HIGHLY recommended!!! Superlative service.

My favourite place for Indian in Erie so far. Ever since Raj Mahal opened and closed, I haven't found a good replacement. There was the revolving ownership at the place on Peach Street (can't remember the name because it changes) but I was very happy to go here and really enjoy the food. We went in, and it was fairly empty, which was worrisome. But their menu was big, and after some hard choices we got our food. I asked for spicy and I got it, not a weak version like at some other places. I was very happy right away. Can't wait to go back!
