El Canelo

This food was terrible! It was like that accidentally spilled the entire container of salt in the Carne Asada... and the meat was dry! My son quesdeilla was also VERY salty... no other seasoning! I took it home but I seriously regret paying for something that I couldn't eat! YUK! I had the Salt taste in my mouth for 4 hours. Even the next day (as I write this) my taste buds feel burnt! Find another cook!

Man will tell you what this place was not only the food was authentic! The service was wonderful! I mean the food! The food! The food! If you are on a budget go get the two tacos and the rice and beans on my God if phenomenal. It was some of the best I've had in a long time thank you guys for being such a great place to go and enjoy our night

Did this restaurant change owners recently? We have been going here since they opened. That was a long time ago now (20 yrs?). It was very different tonight. First, the vegetarian menu is gone and when we placed our order asking for another combo as a vegetarian this request seemed confusing or difficult for them. I asked for a different sauce in one of the dishes and then everyones’ dishes in the whole order had that same sauce change. We also didn’t receive one of the items we ordered. We also noticed the refried beans are a different consistency and the rice had a different flavor. Yikes. The food wasn’t bad, but definitely not the same place as usual.
