We ate there for lunch which the waiter informed us that it was the last day for lunch until summer. We ordered a burger which was above average and a steak burrito which was well below average. The fries were a good size for a side portion and well seasoned. The pizzaritos were good pub grub. The waiter, who was by himself, did an outstanding job and kept our drinks full. We'd like to give them another chance for dinner.

Needed something light and healthy for lunch today and decided to try here for a steak salad. Absolutely the most amazing steak salad I have ever had. The greens were fresh, the steak was grilled to perfection and every bite was savoring. I highly recommend 28 North for lunch, can't wait to try it for dinner.

We went in on Friday, March 16. Restaurant opened at 5 and the bartender didn't show up until 5:30. The poor waitress working tried to help us but she obviously wasn't comfortable behind the bar. When the bartender showed up, he was making my drink and in the middle of doing so took a phone call and walked off. Loaded fries were good, caprese flat bread needs to be made with roasted tomatoes, not raw diced up tomatoes. On the plus side, the basil gimlet was one of the better cocktails I've had. We probably won't be back.

28 North is a trendy eating and drinking establishment boasting a casual yet refined atmosphere. The food is excellent, mainly New American dishes prepared by Executive Chef Angelo Caravaglia. Large selection of bottled craft beers with many locals on tap, handcrafted cocktails, and wines. The prices are very reasonable.
