Hook's Bbq

The food is decent and the atmosphere leaves you feeling like it's lacking something. The rocking chairs outside are a very nice element but doesn't make up for the boring menu and lack luster sides and desserts. It's not a bad place to visit and get lunch or dinner but just know not everything they have will have you wanting to come back time after time. In a desire to get some quick Que come here. But if you want great Que look somewhere else. Some adjustments in the kitchen and menu can change that for the better though. Overall it's good but needs a little work. Friendly staff, nice surroundings and decent parking.

The food is absolutely amazing!! I had never had BBQ Nachos before and wow!!!!!! The place is so clean and open. The staff were a very friendly group. We placed our order and received everything in a very timely manner. Everyone we saw had a smile on their face. Will definitely be coming back here. Excellent service and excellent food.

Wow.. what a fantastic LARGE plate of barbecue pork… Just the way I love it.. Fried okra was the bomb and the beans were ok.. Sauce was perfect.. Sweet with a little bite to it.. Very clean, simple restaurant and nice atmosphere.. friendly and helpful staff made our visit great enough to definitely come back when I’m visiting from my home in Vegas.. We need a place like this in Vegas.. for real..

Got a rib plate horrible no flavor😔 the BBQ sauce taste like Ketchup all the way🥫 and i love bbq sauce but this was not bbq sauce😔real bbq sauce might of made a diffrence in the taste. The green beans taste old cost me 15 + dollars for this meal that just had me dissapointed me and my family of 8 was really upset for the cost and the TASTE OF THE Meals they will never see me or my fam again also the chicken looked un cooked the only thing i can say that was good was the pound cake and the fried okra hopefully they read this and get better😔 i should if got my money back but i just left didnt even eat my plate as you can see in this picture we did not eat a alot of anything😔

So it was our 1st time being to this restaurant. Walked in and at first thought it was like walking into a cafeteria type place. You walk up stand in line at the front and order your food and they give you a number. The food was not bad but it was not the best BBQ we’ve had. Now it is not to say it is not the best place in town it is just not the best we’ve had. The young lady up front was very nice and the smell when you walk up is very welcoming. We would go back if we are back in town

The ribs was so good, I didn't need any sauce on the ribs they were that good. The only complaint I have is that it wasn't enough of it for the $20 something I spent on the plate. There was only 5 ribs lol. It was over $30 with doordash but you would think there would have been at least a couple more ribs. But overall I would eat here again. It was very good to me. Thanks
