Handsome Devil Bistro

Had dinner here for a ladies night with some friends and the food was amazing. HIGHLY recommend the crispy chicken sandwich - and the fries were to die for. Also do not miss the brownie for dessert I could have eaten 5 of them. The food tastes as amazing as it looks! Our server was friendly and funny, we loved her. Loved that chef came out to the tables to see how the meal was - really makes you feel valued as a customer! I already can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch here! I had the pickled beet salad, my son had the handsome devil burger, my mom had the corned beef sandwich and my sister had the charcuterie. I tried a little bit of everyone's meals and everything was spot on. Taste was great, food was fresh, patio was a great atmosphere. Price was good. Would definitely return.

Excellent experience! The charcuterie board had great ingredients and lots of different flavors. We also had the steak frites with the peppercorn sauce, delicious ! I’m from France and I can say I was really impressed with the food. Beer selection was really good too! The chef came to check on us at the end and we had a great laugh talking! Definitely a memorable bistro !

We had lunch and the service was excellent. The waitress was super friendly. Food was amazing. I love the beef brisket sandwich and the lobster rolls. The beef brisket sandwich was very juicy and the meat was perfectly done. The lobster rolls are one of the best I ever had, let alone for its great price. The patio is also well shaded and comfortable. My son loves the half order mac and cheese.

When you come to Elora, Ontario do yourself a favour and eat here! The staff here are excellent! I can not say enough about the service. The chef ( Sean Mills) made a point to come out and ensure that we were satisfied! The menu is phenomenal and Sam is one of the best mixologist around. Love the patio and atmosphere in Elora!

Great bar/restaurant, delicious food, and fantastic staff (shout out to Max, Rachel, and Sean). What else can you ask for! This restaurant came recommended by a number of locals so we decided to check it out during our Elora get-away New Year’s Eve trip. The staff was super friendly and great company. Skip the tap beers and try some of the unique cocktails here because the bartender, Max, makes fantastic drinks (recommended: gingerbread old fashioned & cranberry margarita). We showed up just as the kitchen was closing and they were able to accommodate us which we very much appreciated. Took the chef’s recommendation and tried the fried chicken with mashed potatoes & coleslaw & southern gravy (must have!). The southern gravy was so good we tried to convince them to sell us a take-home bottle of it. We wrapped it up with a Crème Brule and Max’s spiked hot chocolate. Overall great vibes, great company, and great place to dine! Will be visiting again.

We were on a day trip and ended up in Elora just at lunch time. A fortuitous parking spot led us to The Handsome Devil, and it was definitely lucky. There were four of us, and we had four different meals - the mac and cheese, the Rueben sandwich and the fried chicken sandwich. Each meal was delicious. The restaurant was busy, but we never felt ignored by the server. He came by regularly to check on us and was always pleasant and friendly. I look forward to another trip to Elora so we can return.
