I can't praise Katie and Emma enough, they were fabulous. I was organising a large funeral and they put me at ease as soon as I spoke to them. They were attentive, caring and professional, and looked after me from the minute I walked through the door. The food was delicious - everybody said the same thing. It could not have been any better.

Berties is perfect venue, we came back for my 50th after getting married there, The room, staff were wonderful..food was delish, photo booth loads a fun ..Thanks to Katie and her team 🥰

First I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to all the staff at Bertie’s.
The venue was perfect, 80 people attended my wife’s celebration of life.
The staff at Bertie’s couldn’t have been more helpful, Katie, (the manager)was wonderful, her organisation of the event was first class. The chef did me very proud, a perfect selection of hot and cold food, with a desert and Cheese board. Also Bertie’s supplied tea and coffee.
I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a FIRST CLASS venue!

We have just held our Diamond Wedding at Berties and we are highly delighted at the professionalism of the staff. This commenced as soon as our guests arrived as they were served pre luncheon drinks and canapes.
Staff continued to provide an excellent standard of care throughout the function.
We were extremely delighted when many, if not all our guests commented on the high quality of care exhibited by all members of staff during the function, particularly when a high percentage commented on the high quality of the food provided.
My wife and I have visited 'Berties' on numerous occasions in the past and following our Diamond Wedding luncheon would never hesitate to let staff at 'Berties' organise any future events.
I can say that staff at 'Berties' made our Diamond Wedding a wonderful event and one both we and our guesta will never forget. Many thanks. Carol & Jim Bowman

Happy to recommend to any large groups considering functions. Commuication from the team around booking and last minute changes to numbers was exemplary . There was plenty of staffing on the day and the food was delivered promptly and was of a high quality

Went for Christmas party. Very fancy place with bar area and upstairs dining area. Limited options for vegetarians but the salad was delicious. The lemon raspberry cheesecake was to die for, the ragu was ok. The music and host were lovely and the staff was very sweet and helpful. Enjoyed it, also has good parking!

We recently held my husband's funeral tea at Bertie's. The service throughout was excellent. The room is lovely and we had opted for the afternoon tea menu which was served beautifully and of excellent quality. An inspirational suggestion from my daughter. Thank you Bertie's.

Fantastic wedding catering. Highly recommend.
Bertie’s came to our home and managed our wedding reception.
Food was really, really good. Great quality, made with care and love. (Loads of menu options and will do anything else you want to) We had a house full of hungry people and there was more than they could eat.
Especially great staff, who were lovely, helpful and efficient. Beautifully done.
They set it up, ran the day, and cleaned it all away. Like magic elves. Even though our boiler broke down on the morning!
