Caffe Acqua

Caffè Aqua is a bustling, noisy and happy restaurant. Children/families are welcome. The venue was very clean, the food delicious and the service good, once you've lined up to put your order in.. Our booking was for 12md. You may want to book a table either side of that time because they get ultra busy right at lunchtime. The more busy, the more happy noise! Large variety of menu items and drinks, licensed. Disability entrance, I didn't check on the toilets at this time, ♿ 🅿 at the crossing, close to the cafe.

Bitterly disappointed with cafe acqua. My chicken risotto was dry and incredibly undercooked. Like I’m talking crunchy undercooked. Looks like thigh chicken was used as it was dark in colour rather than the bright white chicken I normally see. My husband ordered the fettuccini bolognese and his pasta was also very very undercooked. The bolognese sauce was not enjoyable and had a bitter taste to it. We notified the waitress who said sorry, but offered nothing more in the way of complimentary drink etc. I got the feeling she’s heard it a number of times before. We won’t be returning.

I have gone to Cafe aqua for years! I love coming here for their yummy food with good prices. Although, I always order a lemon lime bitters and have since I was 13, sometimes I am turned away as they are 'alcoholic' and others there is not a mention of my age or or the alcohol content. They very much need to communicate what age you can order a glass

The staff were friendly and service was prompt however the food was very poor. The hot and spicy wings tasted very sour, almost like straight vinegar. The vegetarian risotto was way too salty and the rice was still crunchy. Swapped for the bruschetta which was okay, but not offered a refund for the difference in price (~$6). Won't be returning.
