This place is great, delicious coffee, freshly made sandwiches. Even though indoor dining is restricted it’s in a very nice spot to walk around and drink coffee. Highly recommended!

We always have very good food & the staff is very kind and happy. Looking forward to when we can eat in the cafe, sit and relax. The selection of soups and sandwiches are to die for, well maybe die for but are out of this world like the Tarrus did I spell that correctly. Anyway the prices are very good for the quality of food you get. Good job staff, take care and be good and stay healthy.

Blue Box is now open for takeout during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yesterday we got a couple lunch sandwiches and ate out front at tables on the curb. The Submarine Italiano and the Turkey Ranch were both fantastic. Clearly created with care they were loaded with stuff. Noting sparse about it. We were first-timers here but we'll definitely be back!

This place gets 5 stars all day! The food is fresh and the coffee is great! Very friendly atmosphere and staff! Amazing place to go get some lunch! No point in going to a Starbucks when there is a local gem like this!

Super chill place in downtown Elgin for tasty sandwiches and salads, plus coffee, too. They have the option to build your own sandwich, and I really like that they use Boar's Head deli meats. Oh, and they have a subtle Dr. Who theme going on, which might be a plus if you're into that!

Love this place. We've become big Doctor Who fans in our family, and there's a lot of fun stuff here. Good food, drinks and service.

Soup and sandwiches with character. Pretty decent soup and sandwiches. I'm not a big fan of Dr Who, but that didn't stop me from enjoying their food. The staff always brightens my day too. They also have very cozy gatherings from time to time.
