Sbarro

I came in November 30th, on a Tuesday.. I was visiting family, and I stopped inside the mall to do some early Christmas shopping. My family and I were having a great time. Until we got hungry and decided to get Sbarros. An employee named Heather helped us. She was very rude, and we were very disappointed in our experience. I would have given 5 stars if not for her.

Came today April 10th 2021 around 6:15 pm and the employees especially the one that took our order was very rude, very bad service and I could feel a racial bias coming from both employees at the front. My family was telling our Order and we’re interrupted by the employee multiple times while asking for another item telling us the prices or asking if that was it. They knew we were asking for more but were constantly asking if we were done ordering and telling us the prices multiple times as if we couldn’t pay the price for the pizzas and etc. As well I see them putting the food into the oven ASAP as soon as someone ask for it though ours did not go into the oven until we had fully paid everything. In the end it seems these employees not attacking us racially but did have racial bias against us and as well it seems to other POC. Lastly just very bad service and leaves a really bad impression especially for tourists coming far to explore San Diego. Cant expect to have tourists coming back with this type of trash customer service.

A friend of mine recommended this place because pizza was “fresh” when I went pizza looked like it had been sitting out all day , also the guy making the pizzas would touch stuff and not wash his hands and still make a pizza ! GROSS!! They need better looking pizzas and a clean pizza maker !! So disappointed!! Hopefully they step up , I ended up throwing my food and buying at a better place that sold pizza in the mall !
