Absolutely loved Martone! Struggling to find somewhere to eat with my son, sister and niece after seeing The Lion King and we came across Martone! Staff were super friendly and the food was amazing! Kids got milkshakes made from any icecream they wanted and we got cocktails! Couldn't recommend this place enough! ♡

Randomly chosen we were really happy to find out was one of the best place in Edinburgh in fact they even win awards with the famous ice cream and dessert they make. Was delicious 🍦🍰😋!

A simple, good quality Italian café centrally located in Edinburgh. We weren’t sure if we’d stumbled into a tourist trap when we sat down here, but we were pleasantly surprised by what was on offer. I particularly enjoyed an ortolana salad and my dining partner had an excellent roasted hazelnut ice cream. Service was friendly and efficient, and so overall we’d recommend Martone if you find yourself nearby.

Authentic Italian café bang in the centre of Edinburgh with a unique, high quality interior and DELICIOUS food! Was really pleasantly surprised by the presentation of the food. Had a croissant myself and it managed to surprise me. Menu has lots of choice as well. Really friendly staff too, definitely would go again!

Went with a colleague and my Mom at the recommendation of a friend. It was delicious! The interior reminds me of family run diners/cafes in Rome. The food is delicious! Highly recommend the bruschetta, calamari, spinach and ricotta cannelloni (I will dream of this), and the Panna Cotta. Anna was a gem too.

Staff were over welcoming, we were greeted and served by Elaria. She was really professional and very chatty.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of Italian food, with a possibility to choose between 2 or 3 course menu deal.
Food was amazing. Ordered seafood pasta and a pizza. The pizza was made to our own specifications!! And it was served perfectly.
Very nice experience and would highly recommend it.

Amazing food. Not very expensive. Also incredibly delicious ice-cream!! The only bad thing is we ate there with 4 people but we got a really small table. When we asked for the bigger table next to us, the waitress told us that it was impossible. However, the bigger table remained unseated for the rest of the evening. But, still 4 stars for the delicious food.
