We enjoyed a very tasty meal here. The staff were attentive and the setting was very convenient for town. We would recommend this place to couples, or groups of friends. It is limited in space, so probably not a place to go with a very large crowd, but it was reasonably priced and we would return.

Visited with a friend for the first time last night and we both loved it. Opted for the market menu, which has a brilliant selection of dishes and is great value. Food was delicious, cocktails were lovely and the service was amazing. Great little restaurant - definitely recommend.

Excellent food, really helpful staff and accommodating chef. Menu superb. Not phased by a typical fringe request " Can you seat and feed me in 45 mins".:)

Family visit to Ishka for the first time. Really lovely food with attentive, and discreet, service. The restaurant itself has a nice feel with a subtle, understated, and stylish interior. We have been back since and had another great dining experience, consistently great food and service!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today. We were given an itison voucher as a present and loved the food and the friendly staff. Would have given it 5 stars but my wife's latte was not very hot. Probably should have pointed this out at the time! I had the mussels to start followed by the hake. My wife had the soup followed by the burger. Very tasty!

Absolutely loved it here! Great service, really high quality food for a reasonable price and fantastic cocktails! A hidden gem! Will most definitely be coming back again next time we visit Edinburgh.

Fun atmosphere, great service, and excellent food. The wine selection is well rounded and they have several house made cocktails (didn’t try any of those, but they looked good). The duck was great as well as the lamb rump. Both were tender and perfectly cooked. The bread for an appetizer was excellent as well. And all for a great price.
The location is a bit off the main path, but worth the trip outside of the Old Town / New Town districts.

I went here last night with my friend. We didn't book a table but got a place, good for a Friday night! We ask for starters, we both liked it. The mains were good though my vegetable lasagna was a bit dry and didn't come in the dish were it's cooked. My desert with chocolate mousse was lovely. My friend asked for the marshmallow one and didn't like. Great experience in general and I will come back to try the fish.

This place has the most organic food. It is seldom that one finds a place to done where everything is perfect. I highly recommend a visit. The chef deserves more than 5 stars and the waiter was most accommodating. Well done guys!!!!

Really nice place to eat. Good atmosphere. Had the soup and steak for mains cooked the way I wanted,well worth a visit might need to book.
