I am never in all my life seeing a handicapped entrance through the kitchen so I’m gonna start their nasty disgusting I should’ve turned around and walked out then instead I decided to give them a chance so let’s start with the review of my meal Caesar salad with little to no dressing and powdered Parmesan fried gator tail appetizer so hard it's barely eatable staff is rude when asked to repeat what was said. on to the main course Fried clam strips with what is supposed to be a fully loaded baked potato again clam strips fried so hard They can barely be eaten. In all honesty the baked potato was the one redeeming quality of this meal Prime rib had little to no flavor and was 1/4 fat don’t think anyone has to worry about me ever returning which is a shame because how highly it was recommended

Though there was a mix up with our reservations (highly recommended) that someone else took(rude) I was excited to try this place. It did not disappoint!! I chose ribs, homemade BBQ sauce with a baked potato and salad. It was so good!! My seat mates chose fried shrimp, Mahi Mahi, fried catfish and rock shrimp. Everyone was impressed. Came out hot and it was wonderful. Highly recommend but will need reservations for sure.

First time trying Rip Tides and it will be added to our favorites to eat at. We had the spinach dip as an appetizer and for dinner we had the Fried Shrimp and Parm Encrusted Salmon with sides. I would have gave 5 stars but Shrimp were a little tough, maybe overcooked but the Salmon was awsome. My husband always gets Salmon but I don't usually like it but I have to say I tasted his and was pleasantly surprised I liked it.

My husband I go early about 4:30, no crowds. The service is always great, friendly and prompt. I had the 12 oz.queen prime rib, they also have a 8 oz, early bird, my husband had the Cracker Bonanza which is fried catfish, gator bites, frog legs, clam strips and stuffed crab. Both meals came with 2 sides. We also ordered seafood stuffed mushrooms (not that great). Our meals were very good, and we both had to take almost 1/2 of them home. With a beer and a soda the bill came to 73.00 with tip. We had a great lunch the next day. I highly recommend JC's.

Downhome and wonderful family run establishment a little off the beaten path and a great find when you do. Everything was genuinely good and while I loved the rock shrimp, believe it or not the most amazing thing on the menu were the hush puppies! They're homemade and taste like fluffy sweet bites of heaven. I will seriously return *just for the hush puppies* they were that good. Very recommended! Honestly nice staff too.

First time visit here. Don't let the small front door fool you. We were a table of for and every dish was amazing. I forget the name of their fish pie, but it was rich with flavor and covered in a cheesy crust, the shrimp were large and we requested the scampi butter on the side (tasted like little lobster bites), and one of the house specials for the evening was a blackened swordfish that was no less than AMAZING! We will be back to try more dishes for sure. What a gem here in Edgewater.

I would recommend this restaurant because the fish was cooked well and the spices was excellent. Delicious salmon. The Restaurant was busy. A family member went inside to ask for the Accessible Entrance. A lot of customers leaving but we haven’t had no one tell us where to enter. Waited for a while until one of the waitress came outside to tell us where to enter. Through the kitchen, not the best entrance for customers. Entering the dinning area we saw empty tables in the dining room but we couldn’t seat there. (I don’t know why) We had to wait for the family that was finishing their dinner (table was right next to the kitchen where we entered with a wheelchair. Finally sat down, ordered appetizers butterfly shrimps, artichoke dip, soup and salad. The appetizers came but the waitress forgot to give us silverware and water. We couldn’t find our waitress. I had to stop one of the waitress for silverware. She was kind enough to get the silverware right away. That was disappointing, my family and I was visiting the area and the restaurant was highly recommended. The waitress we had need to be more attentive to her customers. Food was good, salmon and Mahi was perfectly cooked and spiced to my taste. Kids and my parents liked the soup. I will gave JC’s Riptide a 5 star on their food. Soup, salad, appetizer butterfly shrimp, artichoke dip, blackened salmon, blackened mahi with rice but the steam vegetables were to mushy. Needs improvements on attentiveness in customer service. Making sure their is Accessible Entrance. Hopefully next visit will be a pleasant one.
