Bayside Inn

We were seated right away, but left after a few minutes because the place was just so dirty. More than a dozen dead flies on the window sill next to us and there was something smeared all over the wall which our table was up against. It looked as if neither had been cleaned in ages. The hostess was very nice, and we didn't want to be insulting but worried about the condition of the kitchen based on the filthy dining area.

This is a great place to stop in and get some really good food. We stopped in here actually because another restaurant in the area was closed for the day, but we weren't disappointed. The service was great, we got to pick our seats (which is something I personally like) and the food/drinks were great. We had the MD crab dip, French Dip, Calamari and a Cuban sandwich (all pictured). I'm also adding pictures of the menu because I didn't see any in the google pictures already posted. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area and want something to eat!

Update: Best crabs we’ve had in months! Previous post: Okay, Bayside isn't amazing amazing, but hey, they have great crabs. It's a nice, quiet place and the food is consistent. Best hushpuppies I've ever had and I love hushpuppies. Service could be a little friendlier. You'd expect that from a neighborhood-type place.

Came here for the first time for a birthday celebration and can't see going anywhere else for crabs. As a novice crab cracker, the staff really set you up with everything you need for a seamless experience and clear throughout your meal so you don't get too messy. The crab was flavorful and succulent and the price was just great for how much food we got. Our watress even went the extra mile and made the birthday Sundae for my friends dad herself. Great selection of other menu items as well. Super yummy corn fritter! I can see why this place has been around so long as a local favorite. Will totally be coming back😎🦀
