We checked out this local no frills breakfast spot during our trip to the vineyard this week after looking for places that were reasonably priced and close by.
The food was good, came out pretty quickly, and was nice and hot. Prices were decent too.
The staff wasn't the most welcoming, a bit grumpy, and just dumped change on the counter instead of into an open hand, the food made up for it however. Large portions no matter what you ordered. You're sure to leave with a full tummy.

Admittedly, after reading all of the poor reviews, we really wanted to go here. Expecting rude customer service and to be verbally abused, we were thoroughly disappointed... and trust me, we tried! The woman behind the counter was patient, she took our indecisive ordering manner with ease. I paid with a big bill expecting it to be rejected, fail. She went out of her way to get change for it 😳. The food was fantastic, prepared from fresh ingredients...all for a low price. If you are looking for great food on Martha's Vineyard without having to take out a loan, I highly recommend R & B's Eatery!

A hidden gem in Edgartown and where nothing is over $9. A great classic breakfast menu and some delicious sandwiches, I love their Cuban sandwich the most!

If you want your ego stroked with your lunch go to downtown edgartown and pay for it. If you want a really good Turkey Gobbler, BLT, Pasta salad, Potato salad or Onion Rings (cuz those are the only things I’ve had repeatedly) swing by and leave your ego in the car. ORDER UP.

Wonderful breakfast! FOUR blueberry pancakes ( I NEVER eat 4!). Bacon cooked just right, not flabby or burnt. Decent coffee. Tables spaced apart, very clean. Nice way to start the day. Thank you, R & B Eatery!

They're open even when the tourists leave and the money is gone. And they don't make me pay for it.

Great work food. Very plain decor, and the only menu is the chalk board. But the food is great, excellent prices for the Vineyard, and serving sizes are generous. If you're into an experience, skip it. But a great sandwich and a good price to go, the is the bomb.

Great food low prices for the vineyard they have a nice steak and cheese with frys or a side of your choice for under $9 bucks can not beat that would highly recommend.
