Sammy's Pizza

I don't remember if I've done a review for this place so I'm going to do it again. This place has been a family "secret" for 25 years. I've lived in New York City so I've tasted the best of the best pizza and I can say this is the best pizza still. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed, the food is top notch and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend Sammy's Pizza to anyone. If you want some cheap garbage pizza domino's is near. For a good family dinner date head here.

It has been years since I have been back to this Sammy's. I have to say all of their pizza's are the best at all times. Even the service is good. Its great for a big family get together or just a nice one on one kind of scene. Keep doing a great job. Your place should be on Guy Fieri's dinners, drive ins, and dives. Your food is GREAT.

I've heard people rave about this place, so decided to give it a try. A bit disappointing. On the plus side, the flavors were good, excellent blend of sauce and toppings, and it arrived quickly. On the negative: wasn't cooked long enough, so very watery under the cheese (from the onions and peppers, I'm guessing), and for the price for a medium from this place, I could get 2 large pizzas from Dominos down the street. It was an adventure, but unlikely to try again.

Sammy's has been a pizza go-to in Eau Claire for decades. I ate lunch at their former downtown location often in the late 90's. Had a late lunch on my recent visit. Was sorry we missed the buffet by about 30 minutes. They have a fantastic buffet from 11-2. Our waitress was very friendly and upbeat. She was timely and checked back on us to make sure everything was okay. The pizza was fabulous as always. We had a large Canadian bacon with extra cheese. Just the right amount of everything. This is by far my favorite thin crust pizza in the Chippewa Valley.

The place is pretty relaxed for a good drink and great food. The bartenders are really nice. They give you the wifi password which is definitely a plus. I like to sit here and do my college work and have a beer and just relax. No one yells or is rude. There are plenty of older people here and mature people so the atmosphere is cool calm and collected. I like it here.
