I recently discovered them about 2 weeks ago while waiting for the kids to finish driving school at the other end of the parking lot. The baristas are super friendly and patient while looking over the menu. My espresso drinks always have that fresh, roasted taste which isn't very common at other coffee huts. They're now my favorite coffee hut. I live in Palmer and make sure to stop here whenever I'm in Eagle River, which has been 3x a week recently. The teens enjoy their Redbull smoothies as well as the tea options, and the little ones love that they offer capri suns.

Best coffee stand in Alaska! I drive from Palmer specifically for their coffee. Everyone that works there is absolutely phenomenal and out of the numerous times I’ve frequented them, I’ve never had a bad drink or bad service. Recently we had a mistake with a card transaction and they immediately corrected it and were so great about it all! Don’t go anywhere else cause Java never disappoints 💜💜

Best way to start your day is a little Java Hut in your Cup! I love this coffee stand. The employees are so kind and they all make great coffee! If you’re a regular they remember your order right away and sometimes will even have it ready ahead of time if they see your car in line! Best coffee spot in Eagle River.

Java Hut is the BEST coffee stand I have found. Many choices but even more, the customer service A++OUTSTANDING! Knowledgable staff and they work well together. They have that special something that makes employees love coming to work there, and it shows. One of the Batista's recently purchased the hut, she has been working there for many years,(not too many she is not past 30ish) and they all work so well together. Responsible employees, clean work area, great service, what more could you want!

Love this place! My husband and I have been bouncing from coffee shop but this is one of my favorites. The staff is very friendly, they have so many options. I cannot really drink coffee (my husband loves their coffee) but they have some many options for hot chocolate. We also take our pup who always gets some attention and love from the staff (doggie cookie).

Absolutely love the wonderful baristas at Java Hut. I drive in from Chugiak just for a coffee on days I don't feel like powering up my espresso machine at home. I'm extremely picky and they all know it. I like my coffee either a sludge cup or a not to sweet, not too hot latte. They've also gotten in my preferred Chai now, for the days I'm not in a coffee mood. My kiddos love that they have drinks for them too. My oldest loves the fun monthly creations or getting the daily special as a steamer. My middle child is allergic to almost everything, but she can have strawberry Italian sodas safely. Becca has even washed and sanitized a blender so that my 4 year old could have a smoothie without having a major allergic reaction, which is something I love about them! They care that their customers are taken care of, even as a 1 year old that was just finding all the mile long (or so it feels like) list of allergies to entire food families. I definitely recommend Java Hut for all coffee/cocoa/steamer/frappe/red bull needs 💖💖☕☕
