My husband and I both love the food from Rainbow--typical American Chinese. We're vegetarian and we enjoy the Szechwan tofu, General Tso's tofu, as well as the vegetable spring rolls.
My experience with the lady who takes phone orders is that she can definitely seem curt. But after getting takeout for years, we've found she's very nice but very busy. My advice is to be clear and direct. Tips also help.

Rainbow Chinese restaurant is great for take-out. Reasonably priced, tasty food. Only good service because they got our order wrong, but it was close enough and still good (sesame chicken instead of the broccoli beef that I ordered).

Food was terrible, nothing at all what I was expecting based on the name of the dish. Instead of a normal chicken with garlic sauce, their version is a super sweet chicken dish that leaves a weird aftertaste. Will never go again.

This place is absolutely horrible. They take advantage of delivery service to the NCSSM and are rude to the students. Order this evening had a large hair in it and they would not provide a refund. Upon customer satisfaction follow up, was yelled at and cursed at. STAY AWAY!

Food was horrible the first time. Gave them a second try, and service was so bad the second time I came, i simply left with out ordering. Everyone who works there has the worst attitude ever

Mediocre food in the most austere setting possible. I ate in the restaurant and had to actually go up to the counter to ask for water. Terrible service and food.
