Rice Monkeys

my family and I have gone to Rice monkey many many times. Never have I been disappointed there and it's always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend rice monkey for anybody who likes Asian fusion and sushi. We usually go there about once a month just because they're so good. Additionally they're not priced as high as East meets West and other places in durango.

Rice Monkey is a fantastic place to order from. They are quite busy at lunch with orders but it's worth the wait! All sushi roll orders are enough for a good meal, but double it and explore some new sushi bites. Hands down one of the best sushi spots in town. Fast and convenient everytime. Make sure you check their schedule hours. Recommend the Philly and Shrimp Tempura rolls and of course the California roll!

I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!!! This place is a gem! I live in NJ and came to visit my brother in New Mexico and came to Durango for dinner one evening. Came inside and was welcomed with a friendly smile. The food was so fresh and delicious. I had the shrimp tempura roll called the funky monkey and the Volcano roll. Sooooo good!!! I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the rolls because they went pretty fast. However, I also ordered the veggie summer rolls and remembered to take a picture. They were really tasty especially with the peanut sauce..nom,nom,nom. Also try the Ozeki peach sparkling drink. Great staff and fast service.

I am a simple man. I love good food, good company and good times. When I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant I was ecstatic. Their California Roll is exquisite. The Saigon Noodle should win an award. And the staff? Well....nothing short of spectacular. I have been traveling around the world tasting sushi for years and this place, tucked amongst the beautiful San Juan mountains, blew me away. I highly recommend.
