Fabulous dog friendly hotel. Staff are amazing and helpful. Nothing is a problem. Would highly recommend. Food is fabulous. They have taken Government's Covid-19 instructions to the next level ensuring everything is clearly marked, signposted and explained throughout the hotel, to ensure a pleasant safe visit.

We were a little worried upon turning up as the outside didn't look much to be desired, however once inside the reception and rooms were actually very nice for the price. Rooms very large and comfortable and quiet. Fairly modern look and feel to them also. Bar area was a little lacking. Food and drink basic options and not the best but for value for money and comfort I would recommend this hotel

Had a great stay here room was lovely bed was massive and really comfortable. Toilet was really nice. Had an evening meal steak was superb compliments to the chef. Made feel really welcome especially the guy in the bar canny mind his name but made us feel really welcome. Will defo be back. Thanks Kris and Susan

Outstanding couldn't ask for more.. don't be put off by the the exterior you will be completely surprised with the interior looks like it's been completely refurbished. Comfy beds great food outstanding helpful staff couldn't ask for more.. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent. Arrived late after a delayed flight and business meeting. After a long and exhausting day, the extremely kind receptionist on duty arranged for the kitchen to stay open extra time to serve up a very tasty meal. Outstanding service. I've already put the card of this hotel on our office noticeboard!

My expectations coming into this hotel was quite low however after booking in and seeing the room it was really nice, we even went for dinner where the staff were nice and friendly and food was nice. I believe if they tried to redecorate the area it could become a 5 star hotel. Has alot of potential

Convenient, relatively cheap, food available, easy to locate, plenty of parking.
Appears to be undergoing a staged refurb', with the downstairs & communal rooms appearing completed but the upstairs & bedrooms not so!
Our room was en suite, with a new bathroom within the 'old' room!
Very comfortable though, & 'quirky'!
Breakfast was included & excellent.

I was there for my cousin's wedding. Above all, there is a very nice area. The hotel has a lot of interesting spaces, while the garden is the perfect place for photos. This is an intimate hotel, however, contrary to appearances, it is really big. The food was very tasty. Hotel service is also nice and helpful. The grand hall is not so big, but there is a gorgeous sparkly dance floor. The overall impression is really very good.

I stayed in the Dumbuck house 2 weeks ago as part of a hen group. The rooms are furnished to a high standard spacious and spotlessly clean.
The staff are helpful, efficient and very friendly .
I didn’t manage the breakfast but friends raved about. The staff supplied us with complimentary cups of tea until our taxis arrived and even supplied flip flops those of us with sore feet ..... excellent staff, lovely hotel.
I would highly recommend and definitely stay again..... very many thanks to the staff

Would definitely stay here again! Welcoming and friendly service, deceptive from the outside as the inside has recently undergone refurbishment and is well presented. It will be amazing when they have finished it and done the outside as well! Food was faultless, not too much choice on the menu (which we liked) and was delicious (breakfast and diner). Our room was upgraded as they were not very busy and the rates were more than reasonable as we’d paid almost double the night before for a very similar room!
