Unlimited KOREAN BBQ for a pretty good price! You can also ask for more side dishes as well. The service can be a little bit slow when you visit during their peak hours so I would try to avoid those times. The meat is pretty good and I love all the side dishes that comes with the unlimited meat course!

I enjoyed the attentive service while we ate all of the different types of meat available on the all you can eat menu. The brisket was delicious to start off our Korean meat adventure. The standard pork belly was also good. My wife even got me to try the intestines for the first time, which were surpisingly amazing. I would definitely come here more than Honey Pig just for the level of service our group got.

I used to come to Star Daepo sparingly 4 years ago. Back then, there wasn't as much Korean BBQ completion as there is now in Duluth. Now, with the price rise to $22-24 from $12-15, this place just pales in comparison to other offerings. Look & Feel: The restaurant was not clean, there was oil and grease all over the walking areas. There was water spilled under our table. There was a leftover cooked whole garlic on our table. The table vinyl was burnt and breaking apart from the grill cooking heat. Food: We got option B unlimited, which includes the beef short rib. I found the short rib beef very chewy. The beef brisket was okay, but had a lot of fat on it (telling signs of a cheap brisket). The pork was dry. The chicken was surprisingly decent, ironically. Overall, not very good. The sides were good, they offer the classics like potato salad, kimchi, salad, rice paper wraps. No complaints there. Service: No complaints with our server, but I think the restaurant could train workers to clean up areas better and keep the restaurant better looking. Overall: At it's current price, it fails to compete with competitors like 9292, 678, Breakers, Miss Gogi and even Iron Age. For a few more dollars, you can get a better experience and food quality.

I'm a little disappointed with the recent price increase for their all you can eat BBQ. This was always my go to Korean BBQ before because of their cheap price. I get that they are trying to match the competitor's price, however their lack of meat options does not justify the price when compared to their competitors. They only have 4 meat options for the basic all you can eat. They should at least increase their options if they want to increase the price.

Got the "Option B" all you can eat. The meats were good quality but they brought a ton of each thing we asked for! Only got to try three things: beef ribs, pork belly, and pork intestine. They brought kimchi, sauces, and various other random sides as well. Good food but the service was random. Two of our sides (an egg dish and a soup) came 30 min into the meal. Otherwise, great price for all you can eat of tasty meats

Awesome Korean BBQ that has drastically improved from years ago! The management is way better, food is fresher and more appealing, fans work and are cleaner so far and staff speaks much more English than before. This is my Korean BBQ place to go. Side note, prices keep on increasing every few months or year and it's made me come less and less tbh

One of the lesser known Korean BBQ places around and probably now one of the best as the others are starting to lack in quality where this one got better. Their customer service and meat quality reminds you of the old Iron Age before they expanded. I definitely got my fill in here and will visit again.

Very pricey, food is acceptable. Rated 2 stars because of lack service between two servers. We asked for hot tea or hot water and was being ignored few times. After 30 minutes into our dinner, we asked again and a male server answered, "we don't have hot tea or hot water". He ignored and walked away. Ten minutes later, we asked a female server and she ignored us too. It was ridiculous that we were charged for $27.50 tips on top of our bill when checked out. Go buy the grills and meat at asian supermarket and grill to your desires. You will enjoy even better than going to Star Daepo! Not recommend customers going to this place!
