Very good local pub. They are up against a lot of touristy places but have fone so very well. Very large portion sizes of hearty food for very reasonable prices . Can be very busy so get ready for a wait. Restaraunt to the left and bar to the right on entry. Beer garden round the back is ok too. Good whisky selection.

Absolutely amazing burgers with very generous portions! Thank you to the friendly staff for letting my dad have a nosy behind the bar at the whisky selection to nose them all and choose his dram - you made his day!

Our B&B Hosts recommended this restaurant, since we wanted to try Haggis. We weren't disappointed. The Haggis was really good, so was the Burger. On the second night we tried the Steak and Ale Pie, which was amazing! The prices are really reasonable.

Excellent bar & restaurant. The service is very good, and the dishes tasty. Wide choice of beers, and nice decorations. One of the few places that is always open at mealtimes.

Had the carvery today (first time them doing it) it was absolutely lovely. The Gammon was just beautiful, very juicy. Everything was perfect. Well done

Nice reataurant. We've been in the city for 1 night and ate at this restaurant. Food came quite fast. Simple but very tasty food. Waitress was super attentive and friendly.

Really friendly and comfortable environment to be in. Only had a drink but the bar staff told me it was good old fashioned home cooking on the menu. Large restaurant and beer garden.

Very good place to eat if you are around lochness/fort august. Best to reserve your table. But you can eat in bar as well. Sticky toffee pudding was delecious. Chevk out there whisky's as well
