An absolute gem of a cafe with a cracking riverside location as the name suggests! Marvelous selection of food, cakes, hot and cold drinks, and alcoholic beverages. They host a very entertaining quiz night every month as well. Highly recommended.

Great Cafe, I loved the Food it was truly 5 star. On Arrival, This kind young boy with a mole on his cheek served my Milkshake that was quite milk shakey and Delish’. Thanks Riverside

Loved the concept of this place. Went to a quiz night in a pub created from a house on the High Street.
You didn't have to have alcohol though. It was fine to have coffee and cake while quizzing!

We came across the Riverside by googling and I’m very glad we did. We ordered a sausage, bacon and egg bagel for collection. Fast service, extremely friendly staff and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

What an amazing find.. Super friendly hosts. So pleased they do breakfast now .
The wine /beer on a Friday and Saturday night was a welcome addition to Duffield. .. The best ever queen green olives we have had too ! Great value for money too !

We called at Riverside for cream teas on a Saturday in November 2022, having arrived in Duffield on the EVR steam train from Wirksworth.
It is clearly popular, and easy to see why. We sat at a table in the rear courtyard, and three young ladies looked after we two couples. Great service, and great cream teas.
Highly recommend 10/10

Family run coffee shop and light lunches. Eat in a homely atmosphere or outside if the weather is good. Locally made cakes cup cakes scones and great selection of hot or iced coffees.

Great service, and tasty food. Will be back again. The fruit bowls were very fresh and noteworthy.
It was brunch so we didn't sample the coffee yet but we will eventually.

The decor and ambience pre Christmas was just splendid and most welcoming...The coffee was delicious,and the service smiling with nothing being too much trouble! We came with a hidden of tiny children and there were even Christmthemed toys to entertain them and baby chinos with perfect temperature.A dream Café for lucky Duffield!
