Went here with a friend on Wednesday. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcome. We were served by a lovely lady called Sherri I think, who was attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for her.
I ordered a hunters chicken, my friend had the cowboy burger. Bother were fresh and so tasty! I always order hunters chicken whenever I go out, and this place was by far the best. Food came out in great time and both hot!
This place should be so proud of all staff, bar and kitchen. They are definitely a credit to this place, friendly and professional.
We will definitely be back! I need more of that hunters chicken aha.

Brought a party of 40 special needs kids, aged from 11-19. Meals were brought out quickly and promptly, staff were really welcoming and accommodating to the members needs, safe to say they went out of their way to make it extra special, everyone agreed it was a fab night and would love to go again. Well done everyone xx

Great atmosphere food is lovely and didn't wait long at all... Staff always smile and have a laugh. Also the toilets are very clean compared to most pubs these days.

Went to the Forge for a special birthday meal - its great value for money and the staff were really attentive. The place looks really fresh and relaxing. The only thing I'd say could possibly improve the Forge is if there was a wider menue - but you can't have everything. I really did enjoy myself and recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

Nicely decorated and revamped. Reserved a table and highchair and colourings were already out on the table. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. All of the menu was available. Had the choice to order off your phone or at the bar. When ordering drinks at the bar, the lady saw I had a broken arm and took my drinks to my table for me. Didn’t have to wait long for food and came out hot. Great choice of food, kids menu and desserts and I loved the apple crumble with the oat topping. A decent amount of custard as well. A nice friendly family pub with a good play area for younger children. Will definitely come back.

Haven’t been to the forge in a few years, but heard it had been taken over recently so we gave it a try!
It did not disappoint from the customer service to the food were all exceptional!
Booked as a table of 8 and were happy to accommodate.
We had a range of starters, a range of different mains (the mighty mixed grill was huge and amazing)! For dessert we all had chocolate fudge cake and the children all had chocolate brownie and ice cream.
Happy to say everyone enjoyed every bit!

The staff were friendly and helpful despite being very busy. The venue was very clean and tidy throughout. The food was a good sized portion and well presented. The only thing was some of the chips seemed slightly under cooked but we still had a brilliant time. Thank you.
