Dover Forge Restaurant

I wish I could give this zero stars. I ordered the New York Strip and I’ve never been so disappointed in my entire life! My steak was completely burnt. I tried talking to the manager and politely explained that I needed a steak that it wasn’t burnt, especially when it’s the most expensive thing on the menu!! She took my steak and came back couple minutes later telling me there was nothing she could do other than trim the sides of my burnt steak and if I didn’t want it then I’d have to chose something else (as she legit laughed at my face). Incredibly disrespectful!

Experience was great, got seated right away on a Thursday night without a reservation, on another night might need one. The place is a restaurant and pool hall combo but separated enough so it’s not weird. The food was tasty, tried a special skirt steak blue cheese app, truffle polenta fries and the rack of lamb special. Decor was also perfect, old school ski chalet chick.
