Wendy's

I understand why this location has such a poor rating. We walked over from the neighboring pilot. The doors were locked, and they had a standard-looking company sign out front saying that the dining room is closed, but truck drivers and first responders can call a number to order their food and it works be brought outside to you... but this location never placed their number in the sign... it literally had a spot for it that says "place location number here". A staff member came and unlocked the door as we were reading it saying the dining room is closed. We asked about the sign to call in an order and he said "naw, you can only order through the drive thru" then locked the door and walked off... so I guess that was that... we at that point happily found somewhere else to eat.

Every 1 in 4 times it's a problem with this wendys. I ordered today and they didn't have spicy nuggets or strawberry lemonade. Ya know..... the MOST ICONIC THINGS ON THE MENU!!! THEY BARELY WANT TO MAKE THE NUGGETS SPICY IN THE FIRST PLACE. More often than not it's going to be a problem. I still order here all the time so it's whatever. Guess I'll suffer

Had to go through the line 3 times to get my order halfway correct. Lights on the menu were off but I know I wanted a chicken pretzel pub, no pickles combo and extra small fry for my son. Cashier didn't read order back and seemed low so I asked "is that with the small fry?" "Oh, you wanted an extra small fry too?" Yup, that's why I ordered it that way. Seems they only take a single order at a time here, start to finish, so took a minute to get to the window. Paid, got food, pulled off to eat since next stop was grocery shopping. Fries were nice and fresh. Went for the chicken sandwich... Nope. Some burger concoction that wasn't even on a pretzel roll. Went back to drive thru. Waited until car in front ordered, paid, and pulled off. Told them I didn't get what I ordered - chicken pub, no pickles. Seems they already knew they messed up as I was immediately told "pull up, we got you". Got new bag right away and pulled off. Yay! Pretzel roll! Ummmm... Pickles, but ok. Ew, beef. Drove right back around with 2 small children complaining as they had already gotten to eat but Mommy still trying to get what she paid for. This time I bypassed the speaker because obviously that wasn't working and went straight for the window. Told them I ordered chicken and heard then debating "chicken vs #8" 1) the menu lights weren't on so didn't even have a menu number to reference and 2) even if, I've learned long ago to describe what I want or someone's going to give me beef and claim it's because I just said a number. Finally got another bag, felt like chicken, cashier invited me to check it while I was at the window (like I wouldn't at this point). Chicken!! Had pickles and too little sauce but at least i could eat it. This is why I have been to this Wendy's maybe 4 times in 2 years.
