3 star service 4 star food. The service was average at best they do what is expected but nothing more. They just kind of exist. They do nothing to add to the experience. They could be more welcoming and excited about new people trying this place for the first time. The food I enjoyed I would say its traditional BBQ with a twist. The pepper jelly pork sandwich is something I have never had anywhere else or even heard of and it did not disappoint. My wife had the BLT and they do not cheat on the bacon.

Stopped by today for the first time. I would say the food is average. The pork was extremely fatty, the sauce was nothing special, fries were undercooked and limp and the ranch dressing was noticeably thin. Our waitress was not extremely attentive. She came by to take our drink order, our food order, bring our food and then gave us our check. No check-ups in between for refills or to see if we needed anything else or offer dessert. With so many other options in the area I doubt we will go back.

Go buy cheap hot-dogs. Cook the hell out of them, then smother them in ketchup. That’s the ribs. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but that’s what I got.

So many BBQ places in the wiregrass yet not many that are worth the trip. Thankfully, Fatback's is worth the trip. They offer good drinks with a variety of different foods. A bit on the pricey side, but not more so than the other top BBQ places in the area. The shop has a real mom and pop feel to it and the servers are laid back and accommodating.

Me and my husband come to this place a couple of times every month. It is our favorite place to eat at in Dothan! Service is always great food is always hot and fresh (never seen roaches like one person reviewed)
