Quite frankly, I don't understand all the rave reviews. Pretty quiet place. Nice looking place.
I ordered the quattro formaggi pizza.
I don't want to sound too negative, but this was easily the worse quattro formaggi pizza I've ever had. I wouldn't even call it a quattro formaggi pizza.
Was it nasty? No. It just was not good at all.
Basically cheese pizza with tomato sauce.. and then they threw pieces of gorgonzola cheese and something else.
Quattro formaggi pizza does require some skill to learn how to get the perfect balance in flavor. Unfortunately, this place did not have that skill.
On top of that, the sauce was really mediocre and the crust was definitely not fresh. It seemed old.
Maybe the other pizzas are good.
But for me, this place really did not impress. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money for me.

My husband and I came here for a night out together. The atmosphere was so cozy. The food was amazing. We had the best service from Jen, who was on top of everything! Horacio, the manager that was there that night, was super friendly and he personally came over to our table to explain all the desserts. (Got the profiteroles and they were so good.) I recommend this place for a quiet night out. Oh and the wine was pretty fairly priced (we ordered a lot that night).

Our favorite establishment in Miami. Literally come here for the incredible service which feels like home. Bar service and cocktails are always a great start, and the service is always on point. Food is consistent and the host / owner is always welcoming and makes us feel special. He’s amazing. Whenever we have friends or family in town, this is our #1.

How should I put into words my experience at Piola? Firstly, I couldn't ask for a more perfect place...the restaurant itself: if you don't look out the window and see Miami outside, definitely you will feel right in Italy. Secondly, when we walked into Piola, we were greeted by a very courteous staff, asking and finding us a table in no time. Picking the food off the menu was extremely easy, and the options were great. After a few minutes in, the manager introduced himself with a very pleasant conversation, not to mention his attention to details and dedication to work. Can't wait to be back in Miami and pay a visit again!!!!

Had a great time with my girlfriend. The pizza was very traditional, simple, but great tasting. The architecture had a warm vibe to it . All the employees were very nice to me. I’ve been to Piola many times and highly recommend it to any new comers.
