Welcomed in for a local football match. The gentleman behind the bar was superb but some of the locals thought our party was too loud (potentially rowdy). Would score higher if there was live football on during the weekend.
Never had food from this establishment but I’ve heard it’s beautiful. Always brilliant service& friendly staff. I never go to a pub on my own however I went on my own around 3 weeks ago and I was very warm welcomed by the land lady. Always …
A really lovely experience I booked afternoon tea for five, all the food was freshly prepared in house and the baking was delicious,
Had a lovely meal in a nice setting. No complaints.
First time visiting since I was a youngster, and feels like the decor is still waiting to be updated too. That said, it was a friendly enough place with a good range of drinks, including the excellent Madri on draught, and what looked like a reasonable food menu
The afternoon tea was superb homemade cakes and scones and delicious sandwiches
