Fantastic food, excellent service, ambience, great wine list. This place is the real deal, truly authentic French fine dining experience. Devonport is very lucky to have La Poste!

We’ve been to this restaurant twice recently and would like to come back here again and again. It’s the cutest little spot in Devonport with amazing French food at its best. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, not talking about beautiful presentation. The service we received was also excellent. Love this place and will continue to visit.

If I could give a higher than 5 star rating I would! Best duck I ever had in my life, and the chocolate mousse was to die for. Book your next dinner here and you won't be disappointed

Nice service, and atmosphere. Food was pretty good overall. Stand out dish was the raw snapper. We found a few dishes to be a bit too dry for our liking; namely, the ravioli, the duck and the beef.

Fantastic restaurant! Food was delicious, staff were friendly and highly knowledgeable. Atmosphere was great. Will definitely come here again and would recommend this as a place to come for a date night, place to bring guests, or for a special occasion!

Beautiful food and exceptional service. Very impressed with this restaurant. We had three courses and each had delicious, creative flavours and a wonderful range. The staff were exceptional; friendly, knowledgeable, and French :) Bistro la Poste is a new favourite for our family - especially when hosting guests!

Amazing experience! I went with a group of friends to Bistro la Poste. I couldn’t resist and decided to get the 4 course tasting menu. It was the best decision! The food was delicious, the service very professional and it was amazing to see the chefs cooking our food in the open kitchen. Best spot in Devonport so far and worth the drive. Would highly recommend.

there for lunch with six. superb food, wine and service. A real gem in Devonport, let alone Auckland. my aged Duck breast was the best I have had. desserts will leave you smiling. Perfect portions.

What a wonderful place to have the perfect meal. If you love the finest products, this is a place to go ! As a frenchie, the duck was Just splendid !! Homemade, even the bread. Enjoy your lunch or the dinner with a lovely service.

A beautiful way to spend an afternoon at Bistro La Poste in Devonport.
From the moment we walked in the door, we new we were onto something truely special. Gorgeous atmosphere, amazing food that was clever and delicious. The beautiful waiters and chefs certainly helped add to the atmosphere with their French accent. Ohh Lala
Definitely worth a 10 minute ferry ride from the city and a gentle stroll through the village.
My new favourite.
