Beautiful restaurant and friendly efficient service. The food was fresh but egotistical in presentation and service. It was their way or no way with the food. Could be more creative. A lot of thought was given to the sound of the menu rather than the flavour. They wouldn't bring out the four plates that we ordered together. They would only bring them one at a time. This was not because they were busy as there was only one other couple in there. The music was way too loud, more appropriate for a bar than a restaurant.

Basically the food was nice. But I later found out we payed $45 for a $12 bottle of wine...... that's just wrong. Also after paying for the chefs 6 course menu, I'm certain they make as absolute killing as they can't have spent much on cauliflower, fennel, zucchini and cheese sauce (which were the standout ingredients). It was a nice atmosphere, a nice dinner, but I probably won't go again.

On arrival I found the music too loud and even worse in the toilets very hard when talking to friends, the share platter idea would be good but you only get a small taste not enough to enjoy the flavor. Spreading out the meal means you only get one tast per serving and you are unable to enjoy a combination of flavors with dishes coming out slowly and individually. Almost felt that the chef could only do one thing at a time. Finally this left me feeling it was over priced on a good note staff were friendly and did repeatedly check on drinks!

Ben and the Team provide a truely superb food experience! We are so fortunate to have in our "little town" such a superb Restaurant that showcases our worldclass produce in stunning ways. The Staff from welcome and serving to cooking and presentation were attentive, friendly, helpful and knowlegable. The food is handled with the respect it deserves and only Chef's at the "pointy end of their game" know how to prepare and present food that is seasoned to perfection. Thats evident where a salt and pepper shaker is nowhere to be seen, nor required. Ben......keep up the amazing work. We are so proud.
