Lovely pub with very friendly and helpful staff. There's a great beer garden with a play area for kids. I came on my own for lunch and I couldn't fault the vast choice on the menu, but I can highly recommend the ploughmans!

We didn't get food but saw some and it looked great. We stopped here to refresh mid trip, beer was canny and the prices weren't bad. Nice building, outside seating and friendly staff. I'd go back

What a find, the food is excellent, again we can recommend the pie. The staff are friendly and always spot when you need a top up! I tried the specials on both evenings salmon and steak, both excellent. The cask beer is excellent. Nb I asked for mash instead of chips and I’ve eaten two onion rings!
