African Cuisine

I was very impressed by this location. Wasn't 100% what to expect but I enjoy trying new things. The service and food was fantastic. The place itself was very clean and very comfortable. Parking is quite tricky, I recommend parking in the lot just south of the strip the restaurant is in and walking the half block.

Superb food and very friendly owner. Nice atmosphere of Somali men socializing at tables. The Goat Liver is a must try and the daily Rice Special was extremely good. I want to go back and try more dishes. Also had the Somali Tea which I have never tried before and it is similar to Chai. I liked it very much. I highly recommend this great little place.

I quit going. The food was good. However the service was horrible. We are African American. My aunt and myself would go to order food. They would not speak. Nor talk to us. We would order with no verbal response. They would take our money for the food and leave us feeling like they didn't need our business. I was shocked. I truly believe it was our appearance. We both stopped going. Very sad! We both wanted the experience of there cultural cuisines.

Oh my, what a hidden gem. The food here is amazing! I went in not know what African food is, but everything I tasted was amazing. This place is easy to miss, it is tucked away in a little strip mall. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but the food speaks for itself. I ordered the goat and rice. Let's start with the rice pilaf, it was so flavorful, great texture and more than enough to fill even the hungriest of patrons. The goat is on bone, but that gives flavor to the meat. It had a great flavor and they also provide two different types of hot sauce to go along with it. Not too spicy but totally different flavor profiles, one being more citrus based. I also had a fried sweet rice cake that was so good. I also had a taste of a friend's chicken leg and it was so tender, I have to order this next time. Unfortunately, for some reason my phone didn't save any pictures. I guess I will have to go back to get more photos. One suggestion, it would be nice if you provided a knife. The service was also top notch.

ordered from a website. ordered two items one was a chicken sandwich with fries and one was a chicken wrap. there was also a strawberry smoothie and 2 cokes. After ordering I was given a call from the place saying they can't deliver. said I could come pick it up, went to go pick it up, the inside and outside was disgusting. when I got there they lady informed me that they don't sell sandwiches and that they only do wraps. after getting in my car I was moving the smoothie around and found a massive orange piece in the smoothie. when I opened the food liquid came poring out of it! the wraps were extremely burnt and terribly wrapped where the food was falling out. threw everything away because I couldn't even eat it and didn't trust it. never eat here
