I am happy to report that Mekong lives up to it's 5 ⭐ reputation. The food was prepared and cooked to perfection and delivered to our table by the most courteous staff member. I'll definitely be back 😋🤗 delicious ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was delicious, the servers made sure everyone was ok for drinks often enough and made sure orders were perfect, I loved the wall art and atmosphere.
I got the Pad Thai main. It was delicious and perfectly spiced. I'll be getting a starter next time as they looked just as good.

Superb, Thankfully we booked for last Tuesday night as we passed during the day. It was buzzing and no wonder. Amazing food great flavours and terrific service. Wish we had a Mekong in Dublin. My starter of leg of duck tartlet was divine. Main course of seabass and duck also.excellent.

Really friendly Staff. I got ducks main. It wasan amazing, nice presentation, a good size and mix of ingredients, and really tasty. Delicious dessert. Absolutely, I’ll be back

Such wonderful food. I've been here 5 or 6 times since they opened and have had a big selection of different things each time. Generally speaking, all delicious. Even the stuff that didn't quite hit was interesting and clearly made by someone who knew what they were doing and had thought about the meal. A lovely restaurant.
The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Not a bad word to say about any of it.

Can't recommend this place enough. Make sure to place a reservation however as it does get busy. The food was fantastic and the beer the brew there is great too.

Super tasty, fragrant, delicious food. Packs a punch of flavour in pretty surroundings and the staff are excellent and professional with great product knowledge. Highly recommended, you must try these Vietnamese delights when in the maiden city. Definitely a boost for Derry! Can't wait to return.
Update! Back again and still number 1 in Derry. Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful!

What can I say we've been wanting to try mekong for a long just sad we left it so long. Really nice friendly vibe as you enter lovely staff. The selection on the menu is small which I prefer but it didn't need to be big as the food spoke for itself it was outstanding couldn't fault anything. The bao bun is out of this world would have been happy to eat those all night. As for the cocktails the east 8 hold up was my fave. We had to make a reservation as it can be very busy but I would highly recommend you try it just for something different. We shall be back.

Well.. incredible.. I got a take away during lockdown and it was brilliant. Finally went to the restaurant and is so much better. It is a Derry gem, incredible, authentic flavours, that doesn't hold back on true flavours & spice. The staff are fantastic, friendly and actually love being there. Including the kitchen staff, who seem to have a great laugh and enjoy every minute. That shines through in the food! Trust me.. worth every penny!
