I only stopped here to see the "reindeer" to quote some tourists. I'd like to try their elk burgers next time I'm in the neighborhood visiting family.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon staying at the family farm, and we love going to Cow Palace whenever we are there. We love love love the wings! I got the seafood casserole, which was outstanding, and my husband got the fried seafood platter, which was also so tasty! Every time we go, we are never unsatisfied! Their service was great, too! The only thing we wished was that they would be open more so we could go more often while in town.

Atmosphere went from 1 star to 5 stars as soon as that Karen left, mood lightened up and everyone happy again.

The food was fantastic and loved the scenery Noth inside the restaurant and the live elk and buffalo outside in the field was great entertainment.

The Cow Palace is a true gem at Derby (Derby Line). Ordered a menu special of panko encrusted scallops with french fries. The meal hit the spot! The portions are very generous, prices are very reasonable, and the service was fantastic. You will be treated like a local and a member of the family. Don't zip across the US/Canada border without stopping at Cow Palace.

7.30.23 We came to feed the elk and then eat some elk. It was great to see the fenced elk and they came over to munch on the grass, feed. The parking area was big, we got seated right away. We ordered the elk medallions and sample platter which had wings, nachos, etc and it was huge. We thought prices were great for the quantity of food. Our waitress was awesome and she even did separate bills for our party of 5. Great experience by all.

Scallops were good but swimming in sweet syrup,not described on menu, only one side, too bad. Staff were pleasant and helpfull!

Our go to place for a nice piece of prime rib at a good price. Food and service here has always been great and we have never been disappointed.
