Starbucks

I did not catch the young lady's name, but she is slim, brown skin with a big beautiful smile. I walked in with my French bulldog in a bag. She along, with her co-worker gave my pup lots of love. I was indecisive.. not sure if I should try the Sugar Cookie latte or the White Hot Chocolate.. she was ultimately patient, giving me time to decide. She asked to warmup my banana bread without me suggesting it, and also gave me a pup cup for my Frenchie. Amazing all around staff. I'm not a Starbucks guy, but I will visit that location again, and again, and again..

This is by far the nicest location anywhere. We travel and have gone to starbucks in almost ever state. They get the drinks done quickly and correct. Everyone is extremely friendly, but Ginni and Ken are absolutely fantastic. Can't tell you how lucky you are to have Ginni and Ken (plus the other regulars) working for this starbucks. Starbucks should use them as an example for every starbucks staff to follow.

Since I used to work at a Starbucks, nothing I say about it can be viewed as impartial. But I will say this: hearing the store manager instructing a new barista and saying things like "and after you do that, I want to go over some coffee characteristics with you" gave me anxious flashbacks. It's also odd that at my store, there was a female store manager who was a rather challenging person and a male assistant store manager who was the nicest person ever. Almost too nice. And the same exact dynamic seems to be at play in this Starbucks as well. Far be it from me to tell anyone to be "less nice," but it was weird. Almost like that guy is making up for his boss's personality, or for the bland experience of working at Starbucks altogether. Or else, he's just a super-happy person. I'm really, really hoping for that. Anyway, the latte drink was good, the pour-over was A-OK, the folks are nice people, and it's a very clean place. You really can't go wrong.
