Hamburger Stand

Birdcall here was pretty good! They had a good amount of seating, friendly and fast staff, clean, and location was great! The chicken tenders were tasty and the fries were great. They did get my shake wrong though it was the same price and was delicious, they also were weak on the fry portion which was why I gave away a star. Overall, a good Birdcall location in the DU area! Would recommend.

So I was heading back home and stopped by birdcall to check my phone and I ran into and old coworker who bought me lunch. The food is different varieties of chicken sandwiches with different lemonade selections. The restaurant sits inside a remodeled garage and is a good spot to eat and catch sports games. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a good chicken sandwich. 👌🏾

My man Michael is HIM. Unreal vibes coming through the intercom while I ordered. Complemented my health when I got a salad, didn’t hold it to me when I got tendies. Suggested a bangin sauce that wasn’t on the menu. Took a bit after the lunch rush to make some chicken strips, but he offered me a free drink while I waited. He said their reviews were down a bit lately and instead of shouting at the sky, he took it upon himself to go above and beyond. That man cares about his job and makes it fun. Shoutout Michael. Wasn’t expecting such a boost over lunch!

Birdcall is all-around excellent. I’ve always loved eating here, but tonight, I loved it even more. Michael showed fantastic customer service by asking how my night was going and making me smile. He was great with all the other customers too. I even saw a group of DU students walk up and yell, “MICHAEL!” thank you, birdcall, and pay attention to what Michael is doing because he is doing customer service right.

The vegetarian "meati" sandwich is so good. I add pickles and tomatoes. However the place is filthy, with garbage all around and sticky, dirty floors. You also can't order with a human, so you have to use their sketchy kiosk. The kiosk requires you to swipe your card FIRST, which is kind of concerning if you walk away or something and someone else ends up paying with your money. The kiosk also constantly has popups trying to upsell you. So dumb.

First time on a Denver visit, walked in restaurant and stood there confused on how to order, staff member was doing 10 things at once and still made time to pop over to point out the order machine and literally entered in my order for me. Cool layout, great patio, lemonade was fresh, and the chicken sandwich and tenders were too. Zesty house sauce, salad was on point, would recommend. Generous portions 4.4/5
