Rebel

One of the best places Denver has to offer. Completely unassuming from the outside, there’s a whole world of funkiness and taste bud sensations within. Menu is full of delicious and innovative plates, and the cocktails are flat out mesmerizing. Staff is very friendly and entertaining. A lot of interesting and random pop culture items decorate the place, which kind of gets at the whole idea: for a small space, it really packs in a lot. A flavorful punch all around.

Don't be fooled by the no-frills appearance on the outside. This place has great food and attentive service. I'm not an adventurous eater and the menu here took me out of my comfort zone, but I was blown away by the deliciousness! I was especially impressed by the Colorado cherry pulled flank steak. Our server recommended picking a few dishes for the two of us to share and 3 plates was a perfect amount for us. Even more impressive, the chefs themselves came by the tables and we had a chance to deliver our praises in person. We're sad to hear this place is eventually closing its doors, and we'll definitely be keeping up with them and looking forward to their next venture.

Rebel is off the beaten path, but well worth a visit. The food is top-notch here, and the menu is full of creative takes on dishes that you're familiar with (sometimes a little wild, but there are always options available!) The drink selection is also excellent; the cocktails were creative and well-prepared. The atmosphere and service were excellent as well; our server never left us hanging, and was fun to talk to, to boot. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!

The food is very interesting but super delicious! The staff is very attentive and friendly. The ambient may be impacting at first but turns into such a welcoming environment. Highly recommend if looking for a laid back middle of the week evening after a long day of work! BTW, finish it with their dessert, you won't regret it!

We dropped in on our recent vacation for our first meal in Denver. The waiter/bartender gave some advice on the beer selection and introduced me to my favorite beer of the entire trip. The food was quite tasty. My wife had the Nebraska meat pie, and I had their burger with an egg on top. Both were quite good, though if I'm honest I think my burger was a little bit too salty after the fact. If we wind up back in the area, I'll happily stop in again as the experience was quite good.

Have now been here 3 times and gone through enough of the food and drink to weigh in! The menu is eclectic to say the least, but the food is terrific and creative. Be sure to check on the "Pig Part of the Day" - and then just order it! Beer and wine menu is carefully chosen and very good. And the staff is top-notch, knowledgable, and fun as hell. Get to Rebel ASAP.
