Hadn’t visited BG since they moved west on Colfax to this new location but even with a major building upgrade and shiny new sign, it keeps it real as an eatery for the people! The same owners still run it with some extra help to pump volume. The food still comes in heaping portions, really enjoyed the bourbon chicken and blackened fish even if the sides are a bit generic. If bang for the buck and a slice of Colfax is what you want, it’s still alive and well at Bourbon Grill.

Exceptional service and even better food! Bring your appetite as they do not skimp. I would fly back from Atlanta just to try again. Bourbon chicken and blackened fish were simply the bedt!!

Best Bourbon Chicken with Mac and cheese I have had in Denver area. They really stack it with the chicken and Mac and cheese. Really great combo, tasty, flavorful and most of all filling. Very happy with the food, finding parking there can be difficult but it’s worth it. I highly recommend anyone to come here to try it if you’re near the area.

Food was delicious but service was slow and they didn’t answer the phone the other day when I called to place a To go order so I had to go elsewhere unfortunately…they Should be much faster since all the food is already cooked, maybe hire more counter staff to help get orders out faster. I only tried the bourbon chicken and rice though, can’t rate anything else, but it was delicious, good quality chicken and flavor, some parts were a little too charred for my liking but the flavor and juiciness made up for it.

Amazing food, owners, and service 10/10
This place is a family owned business and Dany the son of owners took our order and he was extremely nice and loved working there. Not only that but was kind enough to give us recommendations of where to visit in Colorado, which made the experience great,. The food is juicy and fresh. Chicken wings are made by order and their egg rolls are just right 🔥.
Would go again.

If I had to pick one restaurant that defined my early adulthood, and one that defines Colorado, it would have to be Bourbon Grill. Their generous portions of delicious chicken has had me coming back for years, rain or shine. I had the chance to come back and try the chicken for the first time since 2015 and I happy to report that it’s still the same recipe. I was also glad to see that the original owners are still there. I give this restaurant my strongest recommendation for any Denver restaurant.

Bourbon grill off East Colfax Denver Colorado. Excellent black and chicken combo and bourbon chicken combo along with a side of the spicy noodles. Recommended it out and about January 22 2023. Video included. Bring the Family, you won't regret it. Family owned. Only 1 location

Bourbon grill is located at 571 E Colfax after a number of years at Franklin and Colfax. This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. I spent a number of years in Tennessee and this place reminds me of places there- a meat and sides. You have a choice of the original bourbon grilled chicken, blackened chicken, bbq chicken and blackened fish - all of these items are delicious and you really can’t go wrong with any choice. You have many side choices. The meat is served on a bed of rice- and 2 choices of - Spicy Cajun potatoes- fries- Mac and cheese- spicy noodles- steamed cabbage and other items. I don’t think that I’ve had a bad meal out of 50 visits. Some have been better than others, but none that were bad. If you are in the area stop by and see these great people and wonderful restaurant.
