I usually never write reviews but I felt like needed to for this trip. The server who helped my friend and i was handling trash and without washing his hands after scooped our Ice cream. All the other servers were quite rude too. I get that its busy and servers can be stressed but not washing your hands after handling trash and rolling your eyes at every remark is not very professional. Especially with a job that interacts with lots of children. JP licks has amazing ice cream but maybe skip this location next time and go to the many others In the area.

I went there I ask for a banana split they are getting very cheap on their soft serve ice cream they gave me half of a banana then one straight line of soft serve ice cream to pay almost $12.00 with taxes is a lot of money for what I got. Im going back to Ron’s ice cream in Hyde Park. At Ron’s, they are very friendly and their portions are worth the price.

I have no idea how J P Licks have good reviews. Their ice cream is average quality. The prices are ridiculously high and the portions are ridiculously small. I always go to Ron’s Gourmet Ice Cream. Ron’s ice cream is super creamy and fresh. Ron’s small ice cream size is the same size as J P Lick’s large….. for the same price. J P Licks is trash.

I Normally have a great experience when visiting JP licks with friends or family. However, we received the worst treatment from a member of their staff. The staff refused to serve us and that caused us mental anxiety. We called corporate, but no action was taken by the Manager from Dedham, no call was ever made to assure us it would never happen again to another family nor the employee would be retrained. I am very disappointed with corporate and how they choose not to regard our feelings. Mental Health does matter!!!. I hope better decisions and training will be incorporated to improve their franchise. The future depends on it.

We just enjoyed lunch but my daughter wanted some ice cream before we headed to see the Shen Yun show in boston at 2. It was a great day so far so why not. However, when she asked server what type of cones they had the server looked bothered and told her to look "over there" in a tone that seemed like she was irritated. I guess they have too many options for her to remember 😅. Well, I won't be returning. At least the girl at the cash register was polite. Anyway I'll probably stick with Cold Stone only moving forward.

I went there 20 mins after it “supposedly open” and I tried to open the door and it was locked. My question is if it opens at 10am and no one is there how can it say it’s open. I am really disappointed that an amazing ice cream store can have bad hours like that
